About the European Centre of International Affairs

The European Centre of International Affairs is an indipendent research institute which analyses the international questions according to the European common interest.

 
Research Programmes
Newly constituted research team: "The India Group"

At the initiative of the ECIA, a research team named “The India Group” has been created. The group operates as part of "Asia Maior", an association of scholars that has been active since 1989, and publishes every year a volume on the Asian economies.

 

The "India Group" collaborates with: Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi University, Jamia Millia Islamia, University College London, Bristol University. Read more

The latest issue of the French journal Sociétal contains a deep analysis made by Giuseppe Sacco on the coming french elections.


The presidential campaign in France is characterised by two major facts. Initially, the unanimous pessimistic speeches, even catastrophist, of the candidats on French reality. Subsequently, the candidature of Ségolène Royal, a woman arrived at highest of the political life without having a traditional root.   Italie: affrontement partisan et consensus national


The next issue of the French journal Commentaire contains a deep analysis made by Giuseppe Sacco on the consequences of the last italian elections.


Italy is not split. On the contrary, it is still following its way in Europe. The Berlusconi period is ended. Said statements, made by Giuseppe Sacco, derive from the unofficial relationships of the italian politics; the same are quite different from the analysis spread by media after the last italian elections.  Read more
